Maybe they have it noted down somewhere.
Somewhat(?) easier but expensive way to source correct harness heads is to purchase 2 different Musway harnesses (annoyingly enough, one version of LR to Musway harness has correct male/female green connector and another version has correct male/female gray connector).

As my shop was struggling to find PNP harness, I actually purchased one of LR to Musway harness with correct gray harness heads but ended up not using it. I can sell you that one. if you take this route. =)

Here is some good information I found about the audio system and some connectors to build your own harness.
Metra Ford Amp bypass-it will need additional terminals installed for how many speakers you have on your system.
https://www.metraonline.com/product/AXABH-FD1

You can find pigtails on ebay that have been cut when components are removed. Or there are pigtail components you can buy full of wires new that are ford parts.
Grey connector
https://edsparts.com/products/wpt114...GevWIhXxzCKFIM
Blue Connector
https://edsparts.com/products/wpt959...pr_seq=uniform

The difference between the grey and blue is where a tab is located on the latch side of the connector and one is offset. I think the blue and the green are similar in their design.
Here is the wiring diagram for the newer D90. I think it is for the higher speaker system but the locations of the wires should be the same they just add more. As far as the center channel apparently it only plays music on the 16 speaker system. However, as you will see how it is wired in that system if one was so inclinded to wire a lead to where the speaker comes out of the telematics control unit you could get sound to play easily without having to run wire all the way to the front of the vehicle.

In the 4th picture of the wiring diagram you see the telematics control with a blue and green wire leading out of the amplifier and right below it another set of blue and green wires, when traced go to the center channel. Those originate out of the amplifier from the same port on the same connector. Its like a bypass in case the telematics is gone or something. It ties back in later back in after the telematics. The telematics module looks like it behind the left side vehicle rear seat somewhere.

The whole workshop manual can be found at cardiagn.com

I noticed on ebay that the center channel speaker is just a standard driver not a coax unit. I dont know if the 16 speaker set comes with a coax unit luke the rest of JLR but if you want an upgrade, the newer oem ones with aluminum tweeters has the same tweeter grill as the stand alone tweeters. Other options with titanium tweeters have a spiral shape to the grill.

Higher end coaxial 100mm speakers
AW93-18808-HC

Lesser end coaxial 100mm
DW93-18808-BB

Nicer standard driver (maybe)
DW93-18808-AA

Titanium tweeter replacement
AW93-18808-AC

On the 11-speaker Meridian, there is no center channel speaker. The center speaker in the dash is only used for the emergency assistance/telematics. It isn't used for music. (Weird, I know).

The 15-speaker system uses two separate speakers - a midrange and an aluminum-dome tweeter. The part number for the midrange is LR152702, and the part number for the tweeter is LR025875

The titanium dome tweeters aren't on anything else other than the Meridian Signature system on the Range Rover, RRS, Velar, and old XJ. I actually recently replaced my aluminum-dome tweeters to the titanium-dome ones on my 11-speaker Meridian, and the difference is noticeable. All plug & play, too.

Fascinating! Im learning so much about a car ill never have. But it's fun.
So just for clarification the 11 speaker has separate mid/tweeter in the dash as well or just the mid?

The autobiography mid bass i have in my fpace. I can say, they put out a lot of bass. They're the ones with the strange cone design. They have similar designs in a non coaxial speaker as well like this one but it's hard to tell if it's 100mm or 80mm

The older autobiography speakers i have in an 80mm for my mids in the doors. Kevlar woven design amd those also come in 100mm

it looks like the mid bass isn't as deep of a adapter as what i need sp something from an old xf or the adapter for an xf 6.5 should work. i also, successfully cutbout the speaker cone on one of my oem speakers and the audison 6.5 fit right in and all i need to do is solder a wire from the connector part to the speaker and bam. Plug and play.

The 11-speaker just has the midrange, no tweeter. Even though it technically has 12 speakers, it is branded as an 11-speaker since the center speaker isn't technically part of the sound system. All other JLR products now use the center channel on the base Meridian systems, except for the Defender.

The funky cone on the new models is a 160mm diameter woofer. They are being used in all of the new MLA-Flex platform vehicles and being fitted to the F-Pace and Velar. The smaller midrange drivers in the doors and dashboard are 80mm.

Well that’s interesting. I never realized I had speakers in the back for my doggies ! (I have the Meridian high 15 speaker system).

I guess I’ve seen those round speaker grates up in the headliner, but it never occurred to me they’re actually speakers. Duh.
I wasn’t a big fan of this system until I got the speaker grilles to stop rattling a couple years ago. Now -- it’s fantastic !
