I just bought this trucks twin yesterday!

 

I just placed an order for my 23.5MY P400X in Carpathian Grey - my dealer found me a pre-build that I could make some changes to before 1/11 and delivery date is set for 3/31.

Many items that wont be included in the build but mostly the passenger front and rear USB charging points - due to chain supply but will be installed later once available.

I'm going with the Khaki Resist interior but slightly skeptical about the finish and durability - we'll see how it looks when it arrives.....anyone else have the Resist interior?

 

I had a Carpathian grey 110 X on order, but just backed out of that when I found this V8. It was a great build (in my opinion) with the vintage tan/black interior. I don't know where you are located, but this is in the Boston area, if interested. It should arrive at the dealer towards the end of February.

Also, the V8 I just purchased has all of the USB-C ports along with the surround sound system and both keys. There was another V8 that was still missing the USB's but did have the sunglass holder. Still a bit inconsistent, but it does seem like some of these items are starting to be included again. Hopefully you get lucky.

 

Land Rover Hanover? I had to order our second Defender from Land Rover Peabody because Hanover had zero open order spots last September. And of course I live on the South Shore. Only good thing is that my favorite ceramic coating place is in Middleton about a mile from Land Rover Peabody. So as soon as it arrives it's getting ceramic coated.

 

Yes! I'm in the same boat. I live on the North Shore, and found this down in Hanover. Just canceled my order at Peabody, which would have been much more convenient.

And I assume you're talking about Unique Car Care? Rick is a good friend and absolutely the best in the business.

 

I was torn over the Vintage Tan/Ebony Interior but after discussing with my wife (bad idea) - we decided the two tone interior is just a little too busy - I'm really hoping the green Resist interior will pop nicely with the dark grey trim panels and steering wheel. I also really hope the resist fabric lives up to it hype. The full vintage tan interior on the V8 is sweet but perhaps a little too 'Dubai' for me - I'd love it to be a shade darker or browner to feel like it would not stain or wear as easily.

I'm prepared to not have all the USB ports when it arrives but I'll be pissed if there no sunglasses holder. I'm pretty sure the Surround will come as standard on the X.

Same boat...literally...We ordered a P400 SE over the Holidays and have an estimated delivery of 3/31 as well.

Yes JayO, we are doing the same thing...ordering a Defender from the dealer on the other side of Boston. Not sure if they are still enforcing the rule that you only get a service loaner car from the dealer you bought the vehicle from. Although that hasn't mattered yet after 2 years and 34K miles on our first Defender. I do my own oil changes and took the dashboard apart myself to stop the annoying squeaking. And yes, Rick at UCC is amazing.

 

Should be picking mine up tomorrow around 2pm. I just realized that the YW with black wheels and trim looks like a storm trooper.
