Just check the loan paperwork to be sure you are allowed to pay off the loan earlier than the term you selected. Then you can immediately refinance the loan with your credit union.
I'm a born and raised FW native and only go East when I have to. I see by your handle that you used to be a Jeep guy, well, that's one of my other two vehicles, the other being an HD pickup.
not to go way off track on this thread, but yes. I had 4 in a row- so I wanted something different. The prior was a 2020 JLUR. Seems they sold it before it hit the lot when I traded it in.
I work down the street from the FW dealership. Seriously, if you are ever around, I’ll buy you lunch. You saved me 6+ months of waiting.

If if it is LRJ lending, it’s Chase. They allow refinances. And legally there shouldn’t be a bound lender.

my dealer hasn't responded to my inquiries via email, hoping he's out on vacation or something. gonna swing by tomorrow and drop in, was supposed to be here next week or so.

if it helps, they get a chargeback if you refinance within 90 days. It would be smart on their part to not mess with that. Plus, they may be padding it and could bring it down to match.
on the other side- verify the rate from your CU. Rates have been surging and at least a few people found out the hard way.
No reason given, looks like mine was built 7/11. Here is my build sheet do you want to see if we maybe have something in common that might now be “as standard” as some others? Definitely let me know if you get a reason. I went ahead and booked my flight for 10/1, but haven’t booked my return flight yet, hoping maybe delivery moves back up from 10/21 at least some.
my spec is very different, 90 s P300, but pretty fully loaded. I got the factory satin wrap, so I was thinking that may have caused a delay. I did just hear back from my dealer who spoke to JLR distribution. They said the vehicle arrived at port 8/25 and there haven’t been any vessels to put it on. They did say that it will be placed on a boat within the next 2 weeks. But confirmed no parts missing or anything.
110X P400, 11.4" touchscreen (we'll see, haven't been told otherwise), panoramic roof
really wanted that 6 cylinder extra oomph for towing here in Colorado's altitude on and off-road
front+rear differential locks, etc
Pangea Green, black roof, premium LED headlights, factory satin protection film
Had a sneak peak today as we got the call accessories were getting installed at the dealership; two quick pics attached. Still to do was the rubber swap - 19" DuraTrac in lieu of Adventures and discussing some tweaks for additional clear film (factory clear film installed EXCEPT for black areas? That still doesn't sense to me but whatever...) Plan is for pickup Wed Sep 28 - or Mon Sep 26 if we're lucky - pics to follow thereafter. Stuff is coming together
Got my Vulkan roof lights today but not the side steps. Hopefully those come soon. Surprised though how quick the roof light pod got here - I ordered them on Tuesday morning and they were here Thursday afternoon from England. This is gonna be so cool, hopefully the A-pillar trim clips don't break though when I route the wire. I know they want me to plug this into the battery but I'm probably going to try to run this through the fuse box.
We got pressure to finance for 5.05 / 72 months when our credit union offered 2.39 / 72 months. I guess the day after we got our loan our credit union upped their rates to 3.99 / 72 months so damn we almost ate like $15k in interest. Lucky again I guess. Our Sales Associate was like...I will encourage you to finance with us because it's my job, but ultimately I want you to be happy with your deal and car. Best Sales Associate ever and will always go back to / recommend him.
I'm like a kid with a new toy but also my entire circle of family and friends joke about people spending $50k on a truck meanwhile I just spent almost double that. I am almost embarrassed and at the same time want to be a baller rolling up in my new ride but I feel like any talk is just bragging. This is a weird place to be.

I got the call that mine is ready, about 1 week early. I was told that it is hit or miss whether or not vehicle are arriving with the amplifier installed and that he has numerous vehicles that have been sitting at the JLR facility for over one month waiting on the amp.
x Dynamic 110 - p400
Order: 5-7
Built :June 17
Delivery: 9-22.
Great to see more deliveries. Still no update on mine despite the amp getting installed a couple of weeks back. I did notice my car was for sale on the dealer website, since it was marked as “in stock” my mischievous buddy decide to inquire and was told it was available - nice. Is that standard JLR dealer practice?
