Received notification that my vehicle is on a truck bound for Central IL. Arrive on the Tysla ship last Friday night/Saturday morning. Dealer is hoping it lands Monday for a Monday or Tuesday afternoon pickup! I know some were asking about the paint protection, I guess I’m lucky (even though my dealer doesn’t get as many allocations) that I’m buying at sticker and they asked if I wanted the Simonez protection for $995 today and I said no and there was no issue or trying to continue to sell me or force me into something I didn’t want. Now where do I want to take a mini Roadtrip to on Friday next week since it’s a work holiday for me?!?
Congrats! What did your timeline look like including your wait for allocation?

Ordered Mid-January, Allocation 6/9, Build 7/11, Originally Accepted Delivery of 9/2, Original Planned Handover 9/9. Delivery then pushed to 10/9, then 10/21, then 11/4.
Just ordered a 2023 Defender 110 S. Added about $6k in additional options, nothing major. Build sheet was approved but had to remove the Premium LED Headlights with Signature DRL as it is something now causing delays. Build sheet approval and deposit paid yesterday so very early in the process. Now waiting on allocation confirmation. Was told about 8 months- 3-4 for allocation and 3-4 for build/delivery which seems about on par with what I've been reading. Paid $2400 over msrp for tint, resitall protection and crystal windshield protection... not thrilled but could be worse. Most dealers I called were $1800-3000 over MSRP (I'm in Texas) Did have one dealership say nothing over MSRP but their communication is terrible and a sign of things to come.
Where in Texas are you? I paid msrp plus $279 “mandatory” nitrogen fee. I let the dealership tint the front windows for $469. The dealership in Dallas seemed to have it together on the Defender orders.
Took delivery of my 2023 the other day. This is my 4th LR but first Defender. In my previous LRs there always was a cover for the cup holders. If I Google interior photos for 2023 it shows a cover and seems there is a cut out to slide it in. My dealer told me they weren’t sure. Did you all receive a cover? Photo attached
How do you like that interior? Don't see many like that. I think it looks great.
Finally picked up my D90! Satin Pangea green factory PPF with steelies and white roof, Windsor tan interior. I got the larger 11.4in screen and interactive driver display. Only missing the sunglasses holder, couple USB ports and the second key. Also couldn’t get the premium LED. The staff at LR Naperville were absolutely great, highly recommend them. Super happy with it, for those waiting here are the dates I had.

As you can see, missing all four USBs in the rear & my passenger dash USB. It came with 1 key fob (no 2nd, or activity key yet). Mine does not have the sunglass holder (piano black insert instead). Still waiting on my Front Undershield that didn't arrive with it. All other options/packages came as expected with 110X trim including amp, Clearsight, larger display, full digital dash, plus tow package and cold climate pack.

Heads up to anyone who may be waiting at port or just received a vehicle built in August and beyond. There's a recall notice on the software affecting cameras & sensors (that is affecting my brand new vehicle still; never even took it home from the dealer). I spoke to the Service Manager at my dealer yesterday, and apparently they have a TA case opened. As I understand it, they aren't even supposed to sell a new vehicle until it has this Near Field Sensing Module (NFSM) software updated.
