On the website configuration, SE models are able to select an 11.4" screen. However my dealer is telling me that isn't an option and I can only go with the smaller 10". Can anyone confirm or deny if they have had a similar or different experience?

What I understood is that only the x will have digital dash and big screen and iSight. Rest will be downgraded due to
shortage

 

I get that production constraints can be a little irritating but with respect to the screen, the 10" frankly looks better and fits the dash like it was designed to fit there. The larger screen looks a bit tacked on and really what is the difference at the end of the day? I say folks are making far too much out of this screen size thing. Get your Defender with the smaller one and enjoy it.

 

So I can confirm that the SE and x-dynamic now do have the interactive display. I thought the big screen was going standard but clearly they are short on those chips as well.

The iSight rear view camera is not on either the SE or x-dynamic.

Funnily (and annoyingly) they also stripped the power adjusting steering wheel from the SE models to save for higher trims.
