Ahh.. that’s too bad. I like that extra info. I’ve tried navigating using Pivi and CarPlay and while I prefer the CarPlay directions, it’s nice seeing the stuff on the HUD using Pivi

Got my update last night. after that the live apps updated right away so the weather app is still useful and active on the home screen.
I am having some connectivity issues though. Deleted my phone and reconnected and the carplay pops up perfectly - if I leave that screen to go to the home screen to look at a few things and want to come back, I hit the carplay icon on the left side and it takes me to the settings screen to reconnect my phone but the maps are still visible in the dash and i can still play spotify etc, apps just cant see the carplay screen to navigate. any suggestions? might have to remove my phone again and wait a few minutes then reconnect.

Had to do some rigging up to get the perfect mount for my iPhone pro max. Links are below. NOTE: I superglued the two parts together even though they are magnetic. Just didn't want the magsafe plate to come off every time I took my phone off. Its super strong.
I got a Pivi update yesterday....But when I click on the carplay icon now it takes me to connection settings instead of the main carplay screen...lol. Clicking on media/nav etc. however, take me into carplay. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this as well. I have the V8 with the larger screen.

Same here. see my comment above. Guess ill just have to train my brain to click on the navigation button to get back. hopefully that comes out in the 4.1 fix.
Anyone else with a V8 notice the exhaust note significantly reduced/muffled when in dynamic mode after this update? Wouldn’t have expected any “performance” related tweaks from a pivi update… but I suppose it’s all software these days. I miss my burbles and pops! Haha
