Yes of course, as long as the wheels were designed to accept sensors (some older or exotic designs may not be.) However, you don't need to spend anywhere near $400 for new sensors. Probably more like $100 for 4 compatible ones (you can find them online from several sources, such as Tirerack.) Your tire shop will probably charge you something to transfer the sensors from one wheel to the other, so you may save a few bucks, but not much.
