No Lift tire size guide (work in progress)
Does anyone here have a concrete recommendation (without having to pay as much as an OEM wheel) of a 20" wheel that will fit the brake calipers of a 22" OEM-fitted P525 V8?
Hey Guys, new here to the forum. I’ve been skimming through all the comments on tire/wheel sizes. I just purchased a ‘24 110 Carpathian Edition and thinking about changing the wheels to Vossen 20” HF-2’s with the Nitto Recon Grappler 275/55/R20’s. I would greatly appreciate any feedback on the potential in rubbing with this setup. Thanks in advance!!

Ie. My wheels are 20x9 +30 offset running the same size tire, Everything clears no issues at all.
Ok, that’s a good spec.
Should fit perfectly, no rubbing or anything to be concerned with running that 275/55R20s.
‘That’s within 2mm of what I running, my tire choice has an actual width closer to a 285 then the 275 it shows on the sidewall.
‘My tire is 11.1” wide, 11.2 is a 285. You should be good to go with the combo you’re looking at.

I'm playing with ideas to make this a more useful guide. A thread with 645 posts in it really isn't useful anymore. We need a table we can reference quickly, and one that can be edited.
I created one on the "talk" page of the L663 Defender entry in Wikipedia.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:L...re%29_Guide%3F
I have no idea if that's something the wiki editors would allow on the main L663 page, but if you put it on "talk" you're just kicking around ideas.
I added data based on my Defender (110S P300 with the stock 18" GY Adventures), and everything I could find in this thread up to the 100th post in the thread.
What do you all think? If Wiki allows it to go to the main page, is it something you would want to help update? What other data is relevant/necessary? For example, I added suspension (coils/springs) since that probably changes whether certain sizes fit (some probably fit coils, but won't fit the same vehicle with air at access height).
Do we need to add a column for spacers? Wheels (OEM vs. aftermarket)? Mudflaps?
Thanks,
Mike

I would add spacers, flaps, ect to any tire guide. For example, I was able to run 275/50r22 Bridgestone Alenza on my last 110, but only after removing the wheels spacers in front. My current 110 has the 255/65r19 and with the classic mudflaps, can't see going any bigger.
The new(er) 110 P400 I just picked up the other day has 255/65r19 Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Adventures, and the Classic mudflaps. I added 1" lift rods and 1in spacers, it's very close and I can see a tiny bit of contact on the liner at full lock with the spacers installed.
Well, the reply from a wiki editor was "I think Wiki policy says we don't include that sort of technical detail - see Wikipedia is not a manual, guidebook, textbook, or scientific journal in the "What Wikipedia is not" policy." Not surprising. That's why I put it on the "talk" page instead of the main page. I don't see any place in this forum to build a table - I was hoping there might be something in the "tools" submenu, but no luck. Oh, well. It was worth a shot.
