Just put on a set of Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail 275/55r20 on the 110X with stock 20s. Nice aggressive looking road mannered tire with some off road capability.
I went from 22” OEM to 20” OEM with Toyo ATIII 275/55/20 so far no rub no issues at all
That looks sharp!! 💪🏻

This is exactly the option I've chosen to go with the replica octa wheels from Forza. This tire exceeds the JLR recommended load and speed ratings for the defender.

I put the Coopers on my wife's RAV4. Great tire and I'll probably do the same on my P525.
Also just installed these on my 130 with factory rims. Obviously no rubbing in any position. No perceived increase in cabin noise with the switch from the Perelli all seasons.
Took the advice of @Ronin Defender and went with 305/50/20 BFG KO3s - purely for vanity - I love the look of a meaty tire on these trucks + I had to differentiate from all the Moms in my town who drive them.
I think I've looked through every page in this thread and didn't see much (if any) love for the 22's. Who has upgraded their 22's to a slightly knobbier tire and can give some input?
This is my wife's car - we just came from a Bronco with 35's on a 17" rim. The thing drove like a tractor which is one of the main reasons we got rid of it after having it for 3 years.
We do more road trips than off-roading so we are looking for a good A/T tire that still has good on-road characteristics as well - mainly being not loud.
One of the main reasons we got the defender was to try to have the best of both worlds and we don't really want to compromise that. But the stock Conti's probably won't really cut it.
We live in Florida - so we're not doing anything serious and obviously don't need anything for snow. Mostly sand and mud with a few obstacles here and there. Lets put it this way - I probably wont miss my front and rear lockers.
So anyway, does anyone have any options for a knobbier 22 that is still civilized for some decent highway use?
Also considering going up to a 50 over the stock 45. Was looking at Nitto Terra Grappler G3, Toyo OC AT3, Conti. Terra Contact A/T and the BFG Trail Terrain T/A.
So even if you don't have the 22's, I'd still appreciate some input from anyone with one of these 4 tires.
