I think they will keep air for all 110s in US. New Air suspension is awesome and adds great capabilities. As it wears old, it becomes a headache. I converted my P38 to coils years ago and never looked back. No faults or issues on the trail as that is where she mainly goes. I'm at my wits end right now with the LR3 and suspension issues but it has close to 200k miles. Replaced the compressor, and 3 airsprings but getting a cross articulation error still.

It's easy to swap airsprings for coils and the rear of the new defender has the air spring and shocks separate. Harder part is finding the correct height and spring rate.

LittleEngine - yes, confirmed. I just updated my MY2022 110 P300S order with the dealer, and had to add air suspension to the base build. There's also a MY2022 U.S.A. ordering guide floating around on this site that has all the details.

Same here, had to add the air suspension as an option for the MY22 order to my P300 110 S

Default 12K Miles

Just hit 12K, no issues with the 4 banger mated to that 8spd transmission!

We cruise up to the mountains at 85 no problem, not quite as much torque as my old diesel X5 but more than enough to get the job done at speed.

I considered both but felt like the larger engine would ultimately give me a bit more versatility. I think if your only worry was whether or not it was pulled, and it wasn’t, then it’s an easy decision, right? However, if you’re still concerned it won’t be enough power for your needs or desires then that’s probably your answer and I’d go with the larger engine. Just my two cents. I’ve bought too many vehicles where I compromised on what I really wanted b/c I just didn’t want to part with the cash only to realize I ended up not keeping them b/c they weren’t what I really wanted. I splurged on this one and went with the larger engine and the bells and whistles I wanted and couldn’t be happier with it. I’ve had it since November and have had zero engine issues, just hit 4K miles.

Very interesting... thanks for the info!

So this raises the question... has the MSRP been lowered for the base (coil springs) ‘22 110, assuming otherwise identical specs to the ‘20-‘21 base 110?

Also, how much is the ‘22 air suspension option?

The air suspension option is $1600. I know the base MSRP for a 110 P300 S is $54K for the 22’ model year (up from $53,800). Heated front seats and meridian sound is now standard on the S though as those were options prior.
