Thanks for the response and advice. So I could swap out the normal tires that come in the 22” rims for the 22" Bridgestone Blizzak in the winter?

I do also like the look of the BFG’s. Would they fit the 22” rims as well for normal road driving?

You really don't need KO2s for road driving, and for off-road you really don't want 22" wheels.

The 22" tires you should be able to swap out, a good tire shop will help you with the sizing to make sure they fit the stock rims. In a 22" there are only a few of choices for a dedicated winter tire.

I like the BFG's as well and run them on trucks but might try the Pirelli Scorpion on the Defender. I don't know about 22" KO2's... I have 18's on my Raptor and they come in 20's. BFG KO2 is a heavy tire with a solid side wall - they will take serious abuse, but the Scorpions are 12-13lbs lighter per tire which I like for the Defender and I won't be rock crawling so they should be fine.

If you want a really great more aggressive snow tire, Nokian makes the Rotivia line. I use them on the 97 Defender 90ST.
