I bought both inlet and outlet. Let me know how your install goes. I think you may be able to get to it taking the passenger side wheel off and planting covering as well
is the p400 using two turbos? I have (likely) the exact same engine (the 2.0L), but with one turbo (in a way smaller LR2). I replaced the turbo at about 85,000 miles. Until then it was fine. When it went, I had clouds of white smoke from the exhaust. Anyways, on my car it's all worked well. But losing the turbo so soon? Is the p400 set-up stressing the turbo?
Not the same parts, but still has similar o rings like the p400. The 4 cyl does not have the failure rates like the 6 does. So i wouldn't worry too much about it.

Sort of. It’s not a recall. It’s just a special service bulletin issued from JLR to the dealer network to advise them of something. It’s not a recall. If you’re out of warranty, they don’t pick up the cost on this...
Thank you, I just identified the same leak doing a pressure test. I'll probably also go ahead and replace the lines, not just the o-rings. Thanks for the post!
Superb info in this thread. Thanks for those who have added to it. I discovered a leak where these pipes attach to the turbo. Just reached in there and felt it. Wet where there should be dry.
Is this all the parts needed for this repair? I'll have a look at the shop manual but what's the easiest way to get to these. I'm thinking that going via the wheel well might be the best. Any tips info would be greatly appreciated from those in the know.

I brought my Defender in two weeks ago for an unrelated CEL but while there the service advisor told me that they had just issued a recall on my vehicle for this and they completed it. Receipt refers to "recall D061 turbo cooling line recall". As far as parts, it only lists 2 "104123612 O-Ring" and 1 "LRN2279 Fluid - Cooling". So presumably they are just changing the o-rings and not the whole lines. Mine is a 2023 that is still under warranty so not sure if it's just the service bulletin referenced above, but may be worth checking on for others having issues.
My two lines should be delivered next Tuesday and I will be doing this on mine. I’m also replacing the expansion tank because it appears to have a small leak at the level sensor from underneath.
I took the skid plates off and plan to try to tackle it from underneath, but I’m sure it will require being both under and on top of it
Did you get it fixed? Did you do it from the top or repair from the bottom?

How did repair go? Any advice I have to do mine as well just waiting on o rings
It's actually really simple. One is easier from the top, the other from the bottom. Lots of extensions and swivels help. It's straight forward once you see where things are.
