4.1 updated tonight for me. There seemed to have been a mild flash of brilliance while the car hugged the curve a bit more so than under 4.0.1. Need to test it out more to really know.

After no updates for a year and a half - opened a ticket with LRNA, hey forced my dealer to actually look at it - they fixed some issue that was
preventing updates. Shortly after, I got 3.2, 3.3, then today 4.0 !

I really like having full screen map with satellite view, it just looks cool to me.
I think you’re right.. can’t remember for sure though. But I agree, I like having the full satellite view even if I use CarPlay to navigate somewhere

Still on 3.3.2 here. February was the last update. I wonder what the issue is. Last update downloaded (4.0 I think), failed to instal a few times before up and vanishing like a fart in the wind.

Frustrating but not worth the hassle of a dealer visit for me.

Default Traffic Sign Recognition - Safety Issue

In Australia at least, the latest update to TSR in 4.1.0 has raised safety concerns in school zones.

Prior to 4.1.0, school zone speed limit signs were shown on the dashboad, regardless of whether they are operational or not. From a pedestrian safety perspective, this is ideal, and the driver should be made aware of these signs, and then assess their speed limit according to the time of day.

The latest update ignores these signs, especially when the red around the sign is flashing.

If lights are flashing near the school zone speed limit sign or the red illumination around the speed limit is flashing, then this means the school zone limit is active and there are potentially children about. Even if there are no flashing lights, these signs should be alerted to the driver on the dashboard, as any parent would rather drivers to slow down in school zones.

The issue now is that if the driver doesn't see the sign, no speed limit is shown on the dash which is especially concerning for school zones.

At this point who has (and has not) received the PIVI 4.1 release. I got the last update over the air w/o needing to visit the dealer but I have never have received notification of the 4.1 build? Did this get pulled for some reason or did my PIVI friends forget to send my invite to the party?

I just got it a few days ago, downloaded, but won't install. I start the update, says 45 minutes, close windows, exit vehicle and lock it. After several times, still not installed. Going to try the schedule option.

I am still on 4.01 - usually had no problem getting releases on my 2020 Defender. No 4.1 to date

Finally got it! To install a downloaded update, the battery needs a full charge (my issue) along with the vehicle windows up and doors locked.

Where do I find if my battery is fully charged?
