I don’t know what I did. I popped off the 12v cigarette plug and installed a new usb-c but it didn’t work. I reinstalled the 12v lighter plug and it doesn’t work anymore either. What did I do wrong?



Did I blow a fuse?

 

did you check the fuses? maybe one blew when you removed the cig lighter.

 

Where is it at? Do you know?

 

not 100% sure but i think one is under the drivers side or passenger side footwell. It should be in the manual but i dont have mine near me now.

 

There are 2-3 places where fuse panels are. The most convenient is in the back cargo area behind the silver cover on the right side, which I think is where an air compressor might go if you had that option.

I did the same conversion, but hard wired them, so 24/7.
( Cant't get the light working)

 

how did you run the wires?

 

I just did cut the Green wire, isolated the original direction. Routed a new wire 12v from battery+ and connected that to the Green wire left on the socket. See last on the below diagram. Socket 12v Accessory Front
