Just picked up my new Santorini Black V8 110. I bought a 110 on Friday and went in on Saturday to get a D90 for my mother and my sales guy told me they had a V8 come in and the guy who ordered it canceled. So, I traded out the 110 I bought the day before and went home with the new V8! Made my day. I had an SVR before and like others said, it is similar, but nowhere near as loud. I definitely need to do an exhaust kit on it and am leaning towards the Quicksilver one.
I ordered a Voyager rack for it, as I had one one my Disco and loved it. Has anyone else fitted a Voyager rack on it? I also got the PowerfulUK Molle side panels, and am hoping I can install them with this rack, as it doesn’t use the factory rails to mount it.

They backed out the transaction for me. No hit. They have always been super helpful for me. I only put like 50 miles on it, round trip to and from dealer. So, maybe they were able to treat it like an extended test drive.

 

did you end up paying a markup? my local dealers still asking 20k over for v8’s

market is stabilizing but dealers making more money then they ever have with the markups. taking advantage of the situation. inventory is getting back to normal levels

 

I did. I paid $5k over retail for both the 90 and the 110 V8. Their normal is now $10k over msrp.

Probably. They finally have inventory to sell again. October was the first really good month for the dealership. The sales guy who wrote up my deals had sold 26 vehicles in December. Not sure what the average used to be, but that is not a bad month, I would assume. Hopefully the inventory levels are coming back and the markups will decrease everywhere.
