getting new glass doesn’t solve the problem. there are panels and other items mounted to the interior of the rear glass which you can kind of see from the outside. the only option would be to dismantle the whole rear end, tint that rear glass so dark that you wouldn’t be able to see through it anymore

So found the 90 rear glass, it is 440 per side. Probably could get it done for $1200-1500 ish. How much is the delete kit?
Interior trim looks mounted only to the window per the parts catalog. So once the window is swapped the interior pieces appear to go away.
Thanks! I'm going to be seeing my car for the first time today. Going to the dealership to sign the papers, but not taking delivery for another week or so. I purchased from out of state (shhh!) and will be having the car transported.
I will checkout the situation inside from the backseat, but I really won't be able to assess the issue until I am able to start to take things apart when the car is in my garage.
I would actually consider replacing both sections of rear glass. I know it seems crazy, but I have two kids who are going to be in the backseat of this 90 all the time. They are already aware of the issue (because I told them) and they keep telling me they hope they can still see out the window!
roof rails are on. install was pretty straight forward beside one bolt that wouldn’t catch. think the rivet below was spinning. common issues with the car when removing the bolts from roof rail. didn’t have the issue removing.
ended up using one of the oem bolts and siliconing everything around it to avoid any leaks. followed Powerful Uk video.

Nice job on the roof rails! The video does make the install look challenging.
Thanks for posting the pic of the QR code. So weird!
I took delivery of my Carpathian D90 today. Absolutely love it! I’ll post some pics later.
picked a set of painted gloss back extended fenders for Vulkan Automotive and did the install last night.
this is second fender install and understood the process
some quick feedback on the fenders. they are knock offs from overseas that are just rebranded by Vulkan.
one of the pieces was completely missing the bracket and no double sided tape. i have reached out and let’s see how they address it. i can’t install that piece at this point
so going to give the fenders and overall grade
paint- C+ B-. doesn’t look they used any primer and a very thin coat of paint. i tried ppf one of them as some paint pulled off and i decided it was worth the time and effort.
you can see the mounting tabs from the outside. plastic prob too thin and the gloss paint showing. little waves for every bracket.
light reflector indent. they have a small indent for the reflectors if you want to cut the plastic and install. Vulkan was upfront about this but they said it’s barely visible. it’s definitely visible
fitment- beside missing bracket fitment was say a b+
i wasn’t sure exactly what to expect. i knew that these were rebranded copies but maybe hoping for the best. But they are not good copies.
i was tempted by the already painted finish. thinking about the amount of time and energy to purchase oem ones and then get them painted and then wrapped
lesson learned. I will be most likely removing them and going the Oem route
ping me with questions if you are considering these
only reason i gave it a try was some of the parts coming from China are pretty good quality. these is my 2nd set of side steps and i was more than happy with the product. i would of picked the oem sides but at the time they were impossible to find and then you would have to paint them.
guess it’s hit and miss
