Why 3 of 4? When I got to the last wheel, the passenger rear, I couldnt get that last wheel up off the ground to change it! For some reason just that wheel couldn't get up high enough, maxing out my jack.

I left it like that for the night and tomorrow I'll try to find something to put on the jack to give it some more height until I can get a jack with a higher height.
which jack you using?

Before jacking, put in in access height and lower the back end if on air. Make sure you're on a flat driveway and you'll be all set.

After doing 3 other corners the car may already have played you by doing some air suspension jiggerypokery.

I guarantee this will work.

Just a 3 ton floor jack Ive had for years. Just weird that 3 wheels got up no problem and the 4th couldn't.

I did see that powerbuilt has a combo bottle jack and stand together and it goes up to 21 inches. I'm going to buy one of those as it will make it very easy to just jack and put on the stand at the pinch welds.

As an option, I picked up one of these from Safe Jack. My old floor jack is great at home, and my Hi-Lift definitely has its place, but the Safe Jack unit with its various height extensions should prove useful for LRD and Trailer alike.

Lowered my tire pressures to light load after a very bumpy corrugated dusty track on these boots at full load settings. No bueno. Track was a lot more corrugated than last time I was there. It's been dry here.

Dusty boots look nearly as pretty as the white walled version. Maybe not.

Have to admit those dusty boots do look great. RBL's!!

I looked up in the manual when to use Light Load vs Normal Load settings and the information was marginal at best (for a 5 seat truck). Use Light Load for up to 3 people, Normal for, yes, 4 people and up (that 4th dude must be a big boy).

What do you all run for daily driving ?

Switching to these E load rated tires means less air pressure is needed for a similar ride as the Goodyear Wranglers and their XL rating. The ride on the corrugations was insanely harsh. Light load PSI will be my daily now.

Just being a bit of a cheeky bugger here and not to downplay the more material efforts of others - but I managed to modify my rear rubber cargo mat to fit the tie down rails. To Land Rovers credit it was effectively a “tear (cut) along dotted line” type of operation - perfect for my mind set these past few days At least now I have a flat, protected load surface to stockpile gear for our weeks long road trip to take delivery of the new travel trailer. Proof not all mods are epic nor technically challenging, but ideally suit to their intended purpose

how do you like the air compressor? it's on my list of potential things to get but it's a bit spendy, but it tucks in so nicely.
