Got my new carbon fiber/ leather steering wheel installed today.
I like it a lot better than all alcantara wheel.

Is that some type of kit or completely custom? It looks great!

Took me half a week with several attempts and figuring where to connect everything.
Screwing bottom part of mounting bracket was the most difficult part - very tight and awkward to reach under already mounted compressor. And mounting compressor onto installed bracket would be even more difficult.

That looks great. I am probably in the minority but I can't stand Alcantara steering wheels.

The bracket is from Australian company TLR https://tlrproducts.com.au/search-re...ing-bracket-8/
It supports single and twin air compressors from ARB and TJM.
It is cheaper than Sarek bracket and installation instructions looked easier.

I have chosen single air compressor because it cheaper, lighter, and I don't expect to use it very often.
And between single ARB and TJM I chose TJM because it is 100% duty cycle against 50% of ARB.

TLR has a page for ARB compressor and bracket kit https://tlrproducts.com.au/search-re...cket-twin-kit/
It has list of included parts (adapters, hose) with part numbers - I googled and purchased them separately.

Default New Wheels/Tires/TPMS

New forged wheels/tires - used the same width/offsets as the Urban wheels I have, but these are forged and wanted something other than black (but love the XRS urban wheels). I had a set made a couple years ago for my R8 that came out awesome, so I called them back and thru the custom process (pretty much they can do anything you want) send you the rendering before they actually make them so its exactly what you want for 1/2 the cost of HRE/Vossen/etc..... Also, I know that TPMS sensors seems like a bear to get the car to see a second set of sensors, but did what someone else posted and bought the ones from tirerack. Didnt have to do anything and they just connected to the new set of sensors - they look nothing like the ones on the urban wheels, but all still 433mhz!!

Those look awesome. Could you share more details on the offset/width as well as tire size? Looking for something similar myself, but a glossy bronze is what I’m leaning towards

no problem.. just to be clear this is based on the wider fender flares that is part of the urban kits.

22x10 with fronts +35mm and rears +25mm
tires are 285/45/22

Those wheels look great, do they happen to come from Brooksmoto on ebay?

No...Triton Motorsports. They are bigger in the Audi R8 world and thats where I first came across them and they made a set of wheels for my R8.

https://www.tritonmotorsportsusa.com...-wheels?page=2

If you go all the way to the bottom they have the custom/bespoke option where they can pretty much mock up whatever wheel you want, design/width/offset/hub. They might all go to the same place to get the made though!! Who really knows!
