Yesterday my friend and I installed the OEM hitch receiver. Waited almost eight months for it to arrive. The installation process was very straightforward, but made a million times easier if you have a lift and a friend to help out. The process took just about two hours to complete. The only thing left to do is to get it programmed at the dealer. On a side note, there are two different part numbers for the towing module depending on model year.
The hitch receiver was on backorder since September, but a new batch was shipped over within the past couple weeks. They tend to go out of stock quickly and will probably be on backorder again soon. If you want one, the sooner the better.
I bought my 25’ 110 P400 at end of January and have slowly upgraded things here and there. I changed bumper panels from matte to the gloss black trim to match rest of body. Only the side body pieces are left but not rushing to do those. Below is a list of things I’ve done so far:
- Front and back matte to gloss black bumper replacement
- Installed front covers to match the hood plates
- Replaced matte wheel fenders with gloss black (taken off a carpathian 110)
- Powder coated stock 20 inch rims gloss black
- Changed wheel center cap from LR to Defender one
