Default Wheel arch protection / flares on X Dynamic

Does anyone have photos of the matt wheel arch protection installed on an X or HSE Dynamic that has the lower and front black trim in gloss? On the Pangea green would be a bonus. I want to see how the contrast between the gloss black and matt arches looks and will look on mine. Thanks.

I’m scheduled for matte PPF also. Hopefully the black trim and the wheel arches will be close enough.
I can’t tell the difference in ride between the stock Adventure tires and the KO2s, it all feels floaty-boaty to me. (Although my other car is a super-stiff sports car so everything else feels floaty-boaty!)

I actually have the exact setup you’re looking for: HSE, Pangea Green with matte film, and wheel arches. Here’s some photos of mine after it got the film installed.

You can also find more photos on the detail shop’s blog: https://detailership.com/portfolio/2...r-pangea-green

Thank you!! So your take is that it works well? I would tend to agree. The existing small wheel arches need to be more and having the arches gloss painted would make it too glossed out. You agree?

I think the wheel arches definitely improves the aesthetics, with or without the matte film on the paint. The non-gloss finish of the extended arches blends well with the matte film - I would not choose to make them glossy.

@tzhou did you put matte film on the black gloss trim below? I also wonder how it would look without matte film applied to the entire car, but just matte film on the glossy bits to dull the trim a bit.

Did not apply matte film to the gloss black bits. I asked the shop to apply regular glossy film on those instead.
