Default 4.6 rebuild

I'm currently in the process of rebuilding the 4.6 out of my '03 Discovery, and am trying to locate the dowty washers that go on the side bolts. If you don't mind where did you purchase yours from, also how many are required? I was on roverparts.com and they say 19mmx9 washers and 16mmx2 are required. But I am confused as there are only 10 side bolts for the main caps. Sorry for all the questions, and hope you can help me.

SEALING WASHER 19mm OD V-8 EFI, ERR3330 - Rovers North - Classic Land Rover Parts
or
Dowty Washer at www.rimmerbros.co.uk
.....they go on allen head end bolts too......so 10 required.
i would have easily reused mine if i had not already purchased new. they were hardly compressed and would have been fine to flip over and reuse

What are those for?

Also are the main and rod bolts reusable on this engine?

the dowty washers are to seal oil from escaping past the cross bolts going iinto the main caps.
both main and rod bolts are said to be tty and need to be replaced. i replaced them. there is numeric evidence that they are not all tty. my cap bolts were numbered as if they were standard grade bolts........rave says they are stretch.....many many reuse them both

Dusty what exhaust system are you planning to run? I saw you ask about headers in another thread. Cats or no cats?

i am going to leave the cats. unless i can find out if those non foulers really work.

so it will be the long tube headers spliced into the originalish system
