dusty i am gonna be rebuilding my bottom end with 4.6 crank and rods, since i already did my head gaskets realy do not want to tear down the top end

do you think theres enough room i can sneak the pistons in and out of the bottom end with heads on or bite the bullet and buy another set of head gaskets and bolts?

You can for sure pull it all from the bottom. The rear cam bearing will be a huuuge task, if you plan to replace with engine in place. otherwise just the front cover and sump and good to go. The only access from top would be for lifters and push rods, if you do cam. Still, that is just the valley and valve covers/rocker assembly

Flywheel access is the only issue. Gearbox needs to move out of the way for access
Prolly easier and faster to pull engine
