That's what I was hoping for........ objective mind.

I've mentioned the Nokian Nordman's, not super pricey and yet super sticky in the slick.

You might not think that when you see my post in his thread

I've heard good things about the Nokian tires

Well we have to be dyed in the wool LR nuts to do what we do eh. You got ur DII for free, how else would one get one?

The Nokian's are better known for the Hakkapeliitta's. The Nordman's are made in Russia and I have to be honest I think they nailed it.

True otherwise I would not have a Discovery. It's a nice road trip truck and I have wheeled in them but to me the RRC is till the best of both worlds and for straight off road the defender is hard to beat.

So I just ordered these in a 255/55R19 Atturo Trail Blade M/T for the Discovery they should look pretty good on the RRS rims and provide a fair amount of traction.

I'll be giving them a workout next weekend at Rovers on the Rocks can't wait to see how they do.

I've not seen those before. The are XL rated so I could run them on the LR3 too....

I think they brought them out specifically for heavy weight SUV's.

Being the cheap bastard I am, I'm running the Treadwrights myself, they wear like iron.

Drow, true and about the only ones to offer a Mud Terrian in a 19" tire.

Detoured, I run the Guard dogs on my 110 and love them. Now if treadwright made a tire in a 19"......
