Already picked up grade 8 bolts

I'm probably gonna sell it though, I like some of the homemade bars i've seen on here -- how hard can it be to make one for myself?

Looks like we'll find that out too from the longest over-heat thread in history......

This wouldnt have been the longest over heat thread if new parts actually worked as they should

Yep, got a rattle can already — gonna paint the green black. Thinking about getting some black vinyl wrap for the doors under the trim for a consistent line.

I'd paint the bumper pieces (and yes, I truly hate telling folks what to do with their rigs...but paint them...then just look at it for a few weeks...and go from there about the blacken door bottoms...and again...apologies if this sounds bossy...not so...this is surely your gig...just passing on what works best for me...speaking from experience so too speak) and bumper guard.

Looking forward to seeing plates on it soon!

Brian.

HOW DARE YOU TELL ME WHAT TO DO WITH MY RIG BRIAN, JEEZ

Just kidding

Yeah, i agree. That was the reasoning for using the vinyl so that it could be easily removed if desired. There is a part of me that wants to do something totally wild like a 8-bit wrap or something

Just read through this whole thread... god I hope I never have problems with over-heating and the tstat like this. Thankfully the previous owner had the HG done before I got my disco.

Great thread. Cool truck and cool build.

I’m sure that you’ll run into overheating at some point

I most likely will haha (land rover life). Looking into one of those UltraGauges now. Seem like they'd be worth there wait in gold if my rig ever started getting too hot while driving.
