Too many D1's
Off work today amd going to make a big push to wrap things up. Basically transmission tunnel/trim work, cargo area shelf fabrication, removing terrible looking "Land Rover" and "Discovery" decals, maybe a hood blackout, plugs/wires.....
Got my Kingsbourne 8mm wires yesterday. Going with the good ole Autolite plugs gapped to around .04, maybe .045.

The old shifter gasket was held in place with rivets, which of course I had to drill out. Putting it back together I'm using rivnuts and machine screws.

Took it to Colorado for a couple weeks and it did well.
I started rebuilding my front driveshaft and ended up messing up one of the ujoints. How I have no idea since I've rebuilt a bunch of them.
I can, but the entire thread used PB links to directly embed. I have not the time nor energy to go back and add pics at this point.

Question. Do you disconnect your swaybars? Was thinking about doing this on my 01, but only have 2 inch lift (spacers)...so I'm not sure if I'd gain anything.
Driveshafts joints, you win some...and occasionally lose a few.
Brian.
I don't have any swaybars on the red truck. It wanders a bit more/is slightly tippier than my dailu driver with sways but its not bad. If I ever build a bigger truck I'll run an X-Eng or Anti-Rock swaybar in the rear.
