Ordered some material for 1.5"x.25" wall steering rods and 2"x.25" wall jointed trailing arms. RuffStuff was having a 20% off sale so I jumped on it.
Still need to order some things from Ballistic Fab but they were only offering 15% off, so I'll wait till they run another 20% sale.
Already placed my order with Summit Machine like Tom for the Rover Specific tube adapters.

DOM steering is quite nice.
Are you using the stock ends or others?

I wish I had fab skills. Such a cool thing to be able whip up your own brackets and such.

So would the 831 have worked?

Wow that's some high shipping, makes it worth my time to drive 15 minutes to the steel place

My local place sucks for that stuff. They quoted me $136 just for 64" of the 2"x.25" wall DOM!!

Fish I hope those injectors work I see the reason for the grooves now, maybe he used no clips? The Volvo rails used no clips even though the injectors have grooves for em

Yeah me too!
The guy that had them in his truck knew his stuff pretty well, the same guy you bought some stuff from if I'm not mistaken.

I'm researching some welders a little more. The little Clarke 135 I've been borrowing is ok to learn on but it won't do the 1/4" I need it to down the road. I'm leaning towards a Hobart 210 MVP.

We use a Lincoln 110 v migg, it is probly Max on 1/4" stuff , 220 v units are probly better if you have the electric to run it

Big stuff we just use the stick welder

Yeah I'd like to get a dual voltage unit, keep my options open.
