Isint the work that was done under warranty?
Most shops warrant their work for "X" amount of time.

 

Usually the firing current is whatever is avaiable, I do not know of any current limiting device on rthat circuit because they want to be sure the pyro fires. I would bet that is why they want the harness replaced. probably stressed from the current draw, just a wild *** guess actually.
