Default 1998 Disco Buyer Tips

Hey guys, I'm very familiar with the Disco 2's but a newb when it comes to older disco's. I'm going to look at a 1998 with 140,000 miles on her. What should I be looking at besides the obvious stuff. Is 98 a good year for the D1's? What is a good price range considering interior is 5 /10 , exterior about 8/10, Runs good, no mechanical issues, 2" pro comp lift and nice bf goodie rubbers all around. Nothing else in terms of "add on's" , I'm going to go look at her Sunday so I don't have any other info other than above.

Where did the truck originate from and where did it spend the last 20 years? Look for rust undercarriage, door sills, etc. Otherwise buy it!!

Bring something that can give you an engine-temp readout other than just the plain jane dash gauge. Anything over 200 will need some love on the cooling system after purchase. Get underneath and look for leaking coolant. Get underneath and look for where (not if) oil is leaking from. Pop the fan cowl cover off (just 2 clips) and get a look at the radiator. You should be able to see discoloration from any leaks. Did I mention get underneath the car?
