Would not surprise me. I think next time ( if there is a next time ) I find an independent shop. I guess the part that still puzzles me is that after its warm, I shut it off, wait a second and fire it up and it idles perfectly. Temp sensor possibly.

Do you have an OBDII scanner to look at temp sensor readings?

Look at the engine and intake temperatures. When the truck is completely cooled down they should both read close to the current ambient air temperature.

Cracked pcv hoses will give high idle, vacuum leak

Just be sure they do not drill the plug in the throttle body and turn the screw, it will not fix the problem

Drove in today ( about 20 mi ). Temps were about 65. After approx. 5 miles temps were 88 air and 160 engine. Turned it off and on Idle went from 2100 to 1400. Drove another 5 temps were 96 and 168 turned it off and on idle sent from 1400 to 900. Its just odd, the idle adjusts as it warms up, but only after it gets shut down and started back up. If I am out side the truck and put my ear on the IACV I can hear it move once the truck is off.

IDK I'll replace the PCV and see if that gets me anywhere, but it sure seems like its a sensor or something.
