Default 2 inch lift vs shock relocation

Hey everyone, I was wondering what the differences would be between a truck that has springs and shocks two inches longer, compared to a rover with the standard height springs but 2 inch taller shock towers and rear shock mounts? How would the up and down travel be changed? Thanks in advance

Cost.

The first one increases wheel travel the second is for looks because it serves no other purpose over stock.

I have a 2" lift and 2" lowered upper shock mounts/towers, allows more articulation with stock shocks, my springs dislocate

Raising your upper shock mounts on stock springs makes no sense.
The stock shocks on stock springs have plenty of uptravel for stock tires. Raising the upper shock mounts with stock springs is going to put your tires way up into your wheel wells(sheetmetal contact) and will reduce your drop.
2" lift springs with 2" longer shocks will retain stock travel amounts while allowing for larger tires.
