I attached the page from the rave for the fuel filter for you.
thank you very much

please ignore the ignore thing up there okay anyways i changed out the fuel filter (it was dirty) and no luck... i checked the valve on the fuel rail for pressure and its better, fuel dribbles out now for a second, but she wont fire up at all, the car started better before i changed out the filter, now the whining sound i mentioned earlier is alot worse (when i start it there is a bad sounding high pitch whine, it was making this noise when i bought it, and while it was working sounds like the starter) are there anymore ways to check for the fuel pump not working? could there be another problem besides fuel pressure? the problem first started after a friend of mine started it and killed it 3 times (did not press clutch, hanbrake in ETC...) all help is greatly apreciated

Is it still clicking under the glovebox?

It is possible to hear the fuel pump running when you put the switch on the ON position. Do you hear it?

Is the check engine light on?

Put a tire gauge on the valve. It'll tell you pressure.

Are you sure you have gas?

If it is your pump (mine went out on monday on I-80 in the middle of Illinois); pull out the assembly, apply power to the pump its self and see if it runs good. If the pump does not run or dies off after a short time go to an auto parts store and buy just a new pump cross referenced to a similar GM pump. I bought new fuel injector hose, a Bosch fuel pump for a 94 camaro rs and put it all together for about $60. Much better than the $350 to $800 for the whole assembly. Be sure to not put excess pressure on the feed and return stubs as they break easily.

If you pull the carpet up in the back and expose the fuel pump hatch then try to start you should clearly hear a click from behind the glove box then a the pump turn on (under the carpet is sound absorbing material). I suspected mine wasn't working and tried using a tire pressure gauge on the fuel rail port but couldn't get a reading above like 8psi but when I got an actual fuel pressure gauge it registered fine aprox 30-40psi.

You can buy a brand new fuel pump from www.roversnorth.com made by Proline for under $150.
This will be a exact fit pump.
