No wires attached to the area I circled. I attached a cable to that and it was just a bolt.

I circled that that because I was wondering what that cable was for.

im guessing I need to order one of these and that is not what I removed to reattach the cable.

that is your tc vent line. I would blow it out with some air to make sure it is not clogged. Much easier now that you have the area open.

Thank you for clearing that up. I’m going to order a switch now and go ahead and replace since it’s all open.

Fingers crossed all is good from there. Luckily it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.
