Hi everyone. Trying to replace the ignition lock in my 98 Disco. Bought an after market one on Ebay. It seems as if it's a plug and play kinda job but I cant figure out how to remove the main plug. Is it far down the steerinf column?

 

The actual switch is held on to the ignition mechanism by means of a small set screw which is on the side of unit at the opposite end from where the key goes in.
