Default 98 Rebuild

When I first drove this D1 I fell in love now its braking me. First thing to happen was to replace the exhaust with cats new o2 sensers all 4. Ran better but not perfect. Repaced kick down cable, ideal air senser, tps always running better. Then one day I'm driving on the interstate and it starts to back fire and run bad running very rich new cats turning red. Replaced maf nothing changed. Any ideas new coil packs wires and spark plugs. Doesn't matter if I'm driving it or not fuel pressure good no codes.

Have you cleaned the IACV (internal air control valve)?

Champion plugs and Kingsborne 8mm wires are never a bad idea. I don't know what emissions laws are where your at but I parted ways with my cats a while ago and did not have any adverse effects.

Default figured it out!

Thank you!! Firstly the two wires for crank sensor were melted together. Misfire was caused by tine in crank position ring bent over. Slowly tapped it back in place and when sensor finally saw it it started running smooth and no problems at all!
