So I did the flash test and got a 2-3. RCP failure 2.
1) 35 amp fuse
2) Pump Connector
3) Pump relay

I checked the fuses, all look good.

Ive checked the RAVE and cant find the Pump connector or the Pump relay.

Anybody have some direction they can share?

Where is the relay? What does the relay look like? What color is it?

Where is the pump? Is the connector electrical or a mechanical feature?

Thank you for the help.

Found the relay, changed it out with a known functional relay. ABS light went out, then I got weird crunchy springy noise and feel. Light came back on then I got 2-8 blink code.

Says I need to check with a multi meter. I'm thinking ABS isn't so necessary at this point...

That crunchy springy noise you hear/feel in the brake pedal is the ABS pump going berserk.
You can spend years and millions of dollars trying to fix it, or leave the ABS pump fuse out and remove the ABS bulb from the dash.
The choice is yours.

Yeah Spike, starting to think I should give up on ABS. I'm building the car for my daughter who is a new driver and is moving here from France, so I was hoping to have the ABS working for her.

At this rate I might give her my car(ABS working) and take hers!!!

Thanks

I was told same thing. Disable ABS since at the time ABS was not much off a big thing anyway. I'm pulling fuse. Thanks for advice.

I keep having to knock my front drivers side Sensor back down. I read in another thread , where it said it could be a loose bearing in the wheel causing false sensor readings. I was thinking it could also be the brass retainer that holds the sensor in place. But, now, after a couple of years pulling the wheel off, tapping the sensor down, it gets old. I going to go by Splike555 idea, and pull the ABS pump fuse (NO. 8 on D1), get R done. I drove my 96 Z3 without ABS and it worked fine. As I believe Spike said one time, you never know when that ABS is going to fail. As mentioned above, it fails when the ABS light if off, not on.
