So the Disco was collected and she's a beaut. There are some rust spots that need to be worked on but nothing too serious. We'll be posting some more pics when we get home and as soon as we manage to get her moving again.....
We drove from Vancouver to Idaho without a hitch - there were some moments that she was searching/hunting at idle but arrived safely at a friends house last night. This morning we tried to crank her but she's not turning over. We tested the battery, checked the earths, changed the ignition module, checked the TPS but she's still not firing up. There is fuel coming through and spark but she's just not getting going. Any ideas?? I have a new MAF and Fuel Injection Idle Air Control valve arriving on Monday.

If you get spark, but crank-no-start condition, then my first thought is low fuel pressure. Maybe clogged fuel filter after the long drive? See if it tries to start with a spray of starting fluid. If it runs with the MAF unplugged, could be the MAF is bad.

Check the OBD code display under the passenger seat (Looks like a black box, two digit codes, bright red), but Check Engine Light should be on if a code is set. Online JE Robison has a list of code meanings and troubleshooting information. You are going to love this truck, super simple once you get to know it. Disconnecting the battery will set code 02.

mine was strange when I got it, try disconnecting the battery, then reconnecting it. See if it starts then. I ended up replacing the alarm computer to make it work.
