Hey there always loved the look of land rovers. i found this one i am considering purchasing. any specific things to look for? i talked to the guy and he said the check engine was on because of the catalytic converter. its also been sitting for a couple months but he claims it starts right up and "purrs". ill be going to look at it this weekend.

look in your code scanner plugged into the OBDII port under dash for any codes, and coolant temp after 20 minute test drive and warm up, should be under 200F on highway. No ticking sounds from engine. MIL status = off (no check engine light).

Look in your wallet for $1000 to bring it current and make some repairs and minor mods.
