Default A/C advice please

My truck is a 96 se7. AC has not worked so i thought it was time to figure out why. So I attempted seeing if had any freon and none, so figured leak. Put it on a vacuum and then attempted charging it and compressor kicked on, but then found the problem.. has a pinhole leak in the high pressure line next to the resivour. So looked for a line and its 200$ ouch. But my question is, I found someone in town with one parting out but doesnt have the rear a/c. Can i Just use the high pressure line off the se and not worry about the rear a/c? I would feel more safer anyways deleting it in case of more leaks...

Thanks Jon
