So here is what I found:

CODE 12

AIRFLOW METER
Refer to service test 19, continuity test procedure.

Anyone know what service test 19 is, or how I can find any more info?

Think I may have figured it out. I disconnected my battery to reset the ECU. Then I got a Code 02: ECU has been reset. Disconnected the OBD, waited 5 seconds, and plugged it back in. Now the Check Engine light is off, and can this be? No Code on the OBD?

Unlike OBDII that has to be reset by a scan tool, I think you can clear OBD1 by just resetting everything the way you did. There's probably a more elegant way, but sometimes brute force works just fine. Not sure if OBD1 codes latch in or self restore, could have been an intermittent problem that came and went, your cleaning may have helped, keep an eye on it and if it's a real problem, it'll be back -

Ok maybe I had a slight fuel smell before, but it seems much stronger now. Any suggestions?
Did you get any trouble engine code ?

Yea reset on OBD1 usually can be done by disconnect the battery for a few minutes.
