Default Chip worth the cost or as just waste of money?

I was wondering if anyone had tried one of these Chips for the DISCO SE-97 Land Rover? Are they worth the cost?

LAND ROVER DISCOVERY GF Peformance Chip

Thanks for your inputs as always....

If you look at the info they provide, it merely installs in the Inlet Air Temp Sensoe wiring. That is only one input to the ECU, so a very simple question is how can they possibly do all they claim by piggybacking onto the IAT sensor wiring?

If they were valid and did what they claim, all of us would already have one.

So, my conclusion is they are selling you a whole bunch of false claims. I may be wrong, you could volunteer as the Test Pilot for us if you want to. Let us know your results.

All it does is fool the ECU into thinking the intake air temp is lower than it is so the ECU dumps more fuel into the engine to compensate for colder air.
So do you get more power?
Sure, I suppose, the more fuel you burn the more power you should get right?
It is another "snake oil", dont waste your money.
