I found Rotella T6 5w40 at my local O'Reillys. It was time for an oil change, so I did the switch yesterday, and holy sh$^! the engine is much quieter. It used to have a slight ticking on first startup that lasted 20 seconds or so. I no longer here that. And in fact, I can hear the pulleys more than I can the engine now; it makes a nice soft hum at idle.

Also threw in some rear main seal leak since I have confirmed mine IS leaking slowly. We'll see in a 100 miles or so if that did the trick.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc.!

If you purchased White Sheppard, I believe it might require two hours of continuous driving (?)

I bought a Bars product; Says it should begin working in about 100 miles.
