I flushed the condenser and rad fins to be sure I have air flow, I do

had the electric fans running and I can feel the air coming through the radiator to the mechanical fan ( engine was off) with engine on I have tons of air flow from mech fan on engine, new head gaskets 180* stat new cap on the bottle and no leaks rad was rodded so guess I need to buy a new rad if I want to get the temp stable

gave the fan a spin today by hand 206* on ug and it spun freely guess the new clutch is already shot so we installed a chevy s10 setup, cut 1" off every fin on the s10 fan seems to pull a lot more air guess we will see what results this yields

Smile New info for old thread

I found the solution to "jumpy" ECT readings was to solder the sensor ground splice connection. This was for my 96 D1. I noticed the jumpyness was greater on rough roads. The splice was located with Rave help inside the wiring bundle in front of the engine. Other sensors join together there, so should help them all.
