CV Joint?
Hi All,
I'm getting a constant clicking in the front left wheel area. It speeds up and slows down with my speed and hitting the brakes does not make it go away. About a week ago I was getting a slight click on and off (also in time with my speed) when turning, since wheel bearing are cheap and easy to do, I replaced them. The click seemed to go away for a few days, but I wasn't driving with the window open to hear it either. This past weekend I drove 1000 miles and somewhere during the trip the constant clicking started. U-Joints were replaced about 6 months ago so I don't think they are bad, plus I hear it much more with drivers side winow open then with passenger side. Any ideas? How would a bad CV sound?
Thanks in advance!

Yeah when the cv's go bad they usually make a clicking sound. There not that hard to replace I think it took me about an hour or so doing mine on a lift. But I would make sure you have oil or the "one shot" grease in the swival ball. You mite be to late if it is already noisy.
