D1 discovery power steering hose routing

Default D1 discovery power steering hose routing

Hi I’m trying to replace the leaking power steering hoses and I’m not sure the po put them in the right location, it seams wired it is very close to the exhaust manifold, can someone please take a pic of the hoses? Rave was not very clear

Ps hoses

Loosen the end on the PS Box and rotate it so the hose moves forward away from the exhaust manifold. RAVE Manual is your friend for diagnostics/schematics

Pic shows the hose coming around from the front vs back. Like I said you can try loosening the connection at the box & rotating the hose forward away from exhaust manifold. Or remove it & re-route it.

Just a headsup, you don't want to route the Low Pressure Hose ( NTC9989 / Reservoir to Pump ) over the lower U-joint on the steering shaft.
That joint will put a hole in that hose real quick!
