Default D1 Shift Assembly Trouble

I was recently given my first Land Rover by a friend who is no longer able to properly maintain the vehicle. He had told me there were some issues with the automatic shift assembly, and that it needed a new power steering hose. I thought this was way too good to pass up, so I took him up on the offer. The truck is actually in very good shape aside from those issues. I went ahead and got the power steering hoses ordered, but I am having a very difficult time locating a shift assembly, or even individual parts for the assembly. I have already checked every active site on the sticky for parts suppliers, but haven't found anything. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. I'm hoping to avoid driving to another state to pull one from a junk yard. I'll try to get pictures in the next few days if needed.

Are you looking for the actual shift assembly or the shift illumination unit?

#1 in the first picture or #7 in the second.

#1 the shift assembly. The sun roof was left open at some point which allowed rain to pool in it. The rust and corrosion has done some good work on it unfortunately.

Hopefully Paul has you sorted, at this vintage 2nd hand is you best bet for items like that anything like service items buy new and genuine/OEM where possible.
