d2 front driveshaft on d1

So there isn't any fact to this, but here's my thinking.
I feel if one were able to simply swap the driveshaft yoke I would have heard about it by now. I'm thinking something so obvious would have come up before now?? And that D2 shafts wouldn't be sold with the TC output flange, they would be sold without it and instructions to swap over the yoke.
IDK, it makes sense in my head.

Isn't this what the rear yoke looks like on a D2. There's a good write up here on rebuilding the driveshaft with some really good photos.

Paul I forgot about the ball, so you do need the yoke

When the yoke is viewed in that photo, it becomes apparent why it and the flange need to be bigger than the yoke or flange on a DI. They are entirely different animals.

I looked at this a few different ways a few years ago Tom and your best bet is a D2 output flange from Paul. It was the easiest way to accomplish the task.
