i ended up picking up one for work on the RR as it made life a lot easier... after doing so i figured out that half the battle when making smooth and even flares is picking the right line material that's workable enough to flare easily...
check out the cunifer stuff at FedHill if youre making new lines. super easy to work with and doesnt rust.

cool, probably the same stuff. i bought from FedHill just because they were the only source i could find for some of the oddball RR fittings that i needed.
either way, i wouldnt attempt using anything else for the lines given how easy that was to work with... and the RR system runs at a much higher pressure than conventional brake systems, so if it holds up to that...
