Dash lights/rear wiper not working, fuse blowing
I think the only thing on your list I didn't unplug was steering wheel buttons. Not sure what the "rotary coupler" is though.
It's frustrating because right after I get the pile running the rear windows, gauge lights, rear whipper quits working.
I did check every single fuse and the only one that was blown was 18.
The RC is a device which has continuous contact between the steering wheel and column. Turn signals, horn, air bag, cruise switch contacts. It's like the copper ring under the steering wheel in older vehicles.
Both tied into HJ8 behind the instrument cluster. White connector with a bunch of black wires going to it, all grounds. Which fuse is blowing? The rear wiper is not the same fuse as the dash lighting. F18 10A is for wiper, F8 10A for interior lights and both drivers side fuse panel under wheel.
I was hoping it would be the same as the radio. I don't need to remove the fuse box correct? Just that panel?
You don't need to remove the fuse panel for that ground location (huge pita). If you have the 95's ETM there's a pic of it behind the kick panel. Have you checked the common block behind the instrument panel?
I'm not sure where that is. I pulled the instrument panel and didn't see any damage. don't remember seeing a common block.
