Defender calipers on a D1 questions

lol that it is, left over ceramic high temp engine paint they match the valve covers. Couldn’t help myself

So today, I finally got to do a real test drive. I've changed the front brakes out for D90 vented rotors and larger calipers and pads.
I also put new stock D1 rotors and pads in the rear. ALL my old rotors were worn below the limit to turn them.
So with that in mind, I will say this was a HELLUVA an improvement to the brakes I had. The peal feels firm.
Not sure I ever felt that even when I put new pads in 20K mikes ago. So to answer my own questions if anyone is thinking of doing the upgrade is:

do you go 90 or 110? D90 vented
is the stopping better? YES
how is the pedal travel? Firm and about half of what it was
was it worth it? YES


D90 vented rotors and larger calipers

Stock D1 with new rotor and pads on rear
