It was a rental and they wont give you your deposit back if it is full of blood and heroine.

Well, I've been power washing all of my vehicles engines for years with no problems...till now...Lol. I guess I just like how a clean engine looks, especially when you're purchasing a vehicle. Like I said eariler, I think the Disco know i'm trying to sell it and it's not happy!!

The '98 (now with 185,000) cleans up nicely if I must say so myself!!

Savannah Buzz: Your crew performing a bathymetric survey? My company does that also (with Trimble equipment) but trys to stay off Lake Michigan when it looks like that!! LOL

Yep. But we go when the beach is clear, and winter is a good time. For that trip we got OK from NPS to mount gear (base station) on the hand rails of the historic light house, they were scheduled for refurbishment in the following spring. There's a reason Zodiacs come with so many straps to hold....

We have a four head Trimble that can compensate for pitch and roll up to five hertz...

This is all for research grant projects for a university.

Very cool SB!

Back to the topic at hand. I've been pretty busy and haven't had a lot of time to look into the problem but I did notice I have no fuel pump noise when I turn the key. Is there a relay under the hood that controls the fuel pump? I highly doubt the ECU is wet as it is behind the firewall and basically in the glove box. No water present on a quick look anywhere inside the vehicle. Suggestions?

fuse / relay box under hood? inertia switch on firewall (reset)? My 97 has the ECU inside the engine compartment.

Update: No visable water in the fuse box, no loose electrical connections, and reset the inertia switch a few days ago with no luck. Tried yesterday again and the car fired right up. I guess what ever got wet finally dried up on it's own. :-)
